Awards

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award of up to $7,500 per year (based on financial need and not to exceed estimated cost of attendance). Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon maintaining a 2.5 grade point average in a full-time course of study of at least 12 credit hours at an accredited two- or four-year public college or university in Texas and continued financial need.

Payment of Scholarship

Upon receipt of required registration requirements, a check will be made out and sent directly to the designated college by the scholarship treasurer.
